All this work culminates in one glorious weekend in summer, when the fruits of their labour will be taken to the village hall, lovingly arranged in vases and decorative displays so that the whole town will become a mass of flowers. — The Floralie, or Flower Festival has begun. This classic sampler celebrates this wonderful tradition, and all the hard work that goes into making these events one of the highlights of a village year. It is charted for two colours of your choice, but why not try adding an extra splash of colour, by using a different variegated silk for the flowers in the central bouquet.
